: Major Indian cities are connected to Kashmir by the National Highways (NH) 1 and NH44. Along this path is also where the Jawahar Tunnel, which connects Jammu to the Kashmir valley, is located.
: There isn't a train station in Srinagar at the moment. Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is situated around 300 km from Srinagar, is the railway station that is closest to the city.
: Flights are available from Srinagar Airport, also known as Sheikh Ul-Alam International Airport Srinagar, to major Indian destinations including Goa, Delhi, Leh, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Jammu. The Srinagar airport is around 14 kilometres from the city core.
