Although the treks in and around Mysore may not be particularly difficult. Trekking admirers can enjoy routes at Chamundi Hill, Brahmagiri Hill, and the neighbouring Western Ghats.

2. Rock Climbing

There are various rock climbing places such as Chamundi Hill, Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta, and Savandurga Hill, even Mysore itself may not offer very difficult treks for rock climbing.

3. Cycling

A slow-paced activity, or at least one that allows you to stop at any time, would be the finest way to explore and take in the essence of Mysore. The greatest areas to go cycling in Mysore are near lakes like Kukkarahalli Lake, Karanji Lake, and Chamundi Hills.

4. Wildlife Safaris

Visit nearby Bandipur or Nagarhole National Parks to go on a wildlife safari. These safaris provide the chance to see a variety of animals, including elephants, tigers, leopards, and several kinds of deer.

5. Bird Watching

An excellent spot for birdwatchers is the area surrounding Mysore because of the wide range of birds there. For birdwatching, go to Karanji Lake or the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary.

6. Motorcycling

If you enjoy long-distance motorcycle travel, you can organise road trips from Mysore to scenic locales and adjacent regions. The ideal locations for motorcycling are Ooty (Udhagamandalam) Ride, BR Hills (Biligiriranga Hills), and Bandipur and Mudumalai National Parks.
