1. White water rafting

During the monsoon season, when the water levels are high and the rapids are tricky white water rafting is available for exploring the Subarnarekha River, which flows through Purulia.

2. Kayaking

Kayaking is permitted in many of Purulia's lakes and reservoirs, including Panchet Dam and Murguma Dam. For a leisurely paddle or to explore the tranquil surroundings, you can hire kayaks.
